The City of White House is Excited to Announce its New Recycling Program!
 The City of White House, in conjunction with QRS Recycling, has begun a new single stream recycling program. This form of recycling allow residents to put all accepted recyclables into one container without sorting materials.

Locations The City of White House has additional recycling locations. Recyclables can be dropped off at the following locations:
- The Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center, which can be accesse via the Hwy 31W entrance.
- The White House Police Department, located at 303 N. Palmers Chapel Rd.
- The White House Fire Department, located at 416 Hwy 76.
- Walmart, located at 222 Wilkinson Lane.

These bins are NOT dumpsters for household refuse. Only recyclable items should be deposited. |

Acceptable Items for the Recycling Bin Include:
- Aluminum cans
- Cardboard that is broken-down so that it will lay flat
- Junk mail
- Magazines
- Newspaper
- Plastics (1-7), No bubble wrap or plastic wrap
- Steel cans
- Telephone books
- Tin

Items NOT Accepted Include:
- Glass
- Hazardous chemicals
- Herbicide
- Insecticide
- Motor oil
- Paper towel
- Styrofoam
- Toilet paper
- Or any materials contaminated with food (i.e. pizza boxes, fast food containers, etc.)

| If you change your own motor oil, please recycle it at our Public Works Facility located at 427 Industrial Drive. |
