The Leisure Services Board consists of seven members appointed by the Mayor serving three-year terms. This board acts as a recommending body in the development of the leisure system with the city and shall be an advisory body responsible for providing guidelines and direction in meeting the cultural, artistic, athletic/fitness, historic, tourism & natural resources of the community. The board also advises the Parks Department in connection with the artistic & cultural development of White House and establishes goals, policies & procedures for a recreation program.
Meetings
The Leisure Services Board meets bi-monthly on the 1st Thursday of every other month (January, March, May, July, September, and November). These meetings are held at the Municipal Center at 7:00 pm.
