Property Values and Owner Information
The Sumner and Robertson County Tax Assessors’ offices provide the city with the property assessed values. The County Tax Assessors’ office is also responsible for name and address changes. Tax notices reflect the property owner on record as of January 1. If you have a mortgage with an escrow account to cover property taxes, it is your responsibility to forward a copy of the notice to your mortgage company.

All of the above services and many more like this cost the local taxpayers money. The average homeowner pays about $ 490 per year in property taxes. This represents only 36% of the actual cost of providing services to a home. It takes a combination of business taxes, sales tax collections, and shared taxes coming from the State of Tennessee to allow the City of White House to continue to provide services.
Other services offered include Wastewater and Sanitation. These services are funded directly through user fees which may not be co-mingled with the revenues and expenses discussed above.
