White House Special Needs Sports Organization


 

Mission Statement

It is the purpose of the White House Parks & Recreation Department and local volunteers to provide opportunities for mentally and physically challenged individuals to participate in sports events/leagues in a recreational, non-competitive setting.  This volunteer based organization began in March 2005. It focuses on giving children with special needs an opportunity to participate in sports such as basketball, baseball, and soccer in a recreational, non-competitive setting.

Coaches / Volunteers - The special needs sports leagues are always in need of extra volunteers and coaches. If you would be interested in helping out, please give us a call at (615) 672-4350 ext. 2117 or send an email to Joe Best.
