The City of White House Planning/Codes Department will hold the following public meetings prior to the monthly Planning Commission meetings to present the City’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan update project.

The meetings will be held at the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center- 105 College Street- City Hall Board Room

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of White House, Tennessee, will meet in regular session on Thursday, November 15, 2018, for the purpose of hearing the following:
 

The meeting will take place at 7:00pm at the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center located at 105 College Street. 

a.      Ordinance 18-29: An ordinance amending the zoning ordinance to include fence location, height, and limited construction requirements. Second Reading

 

b.      Ordinance 18-30: An ordinance to amend the zoning map from R-15 medium density residential to neighborhood center residential planned unit development and approve a preliminary master plan for property on HWY 31W and Meadowlark Drive. Second Reading

 The following ordinances were passed at the October 18, 2018, Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting: 

c.      Ordinance 18-27: An ordinance of the City of White House, Tennessee amending the Municipal Code Title 8, Chapter 2 Beer. Second Reading

 

d.      Ordinance 18-28: An ordinance of the City of White House, Tennessee, amending the Municipal Code Title 16 Streets and Sidewalks, etc., Chapter 1 Miscellaneous to delete the section 16-114, Uniform system for numbering properties and principal buildings. Second Reading

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and the Leisure Services Board of the City of White House, Tennessee, will meet on Monday, November 26, 2018, for a joint study session to discuss recreation and community event center plans. The meeting will take place at 7:00 pm at the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center located at 105 College Street.

The City of White House Planning Commission will meet in a regular scheduled meeting on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., in the Board Chambers Room of the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Building, at 105 College Street to discuss the following proposed Subdivision Regulations amendments:

 

Planning/Codes Staff Requests  

The proposed amendments include defined roadway frontage, separation, and increased intersection clearance requirements for new access drives on collector and arterial roadways included on the City’s Major Roadway

Thoroughfare Plan and to include storm water improvements on the Public Services final subdivision plat certificate of approval.
