Notice is hereby given that the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of White House, Tennessee, will meet in regular session on Thursday, May 17, 2018 for the purpose of hearing the following:

  1. Ordinance 18-04: An ordinance amending the existing Springbrook development master plan on South Palmers Chapel Road to include the Hawk View Ridge preliminary master plan for the undeveloped portion of project property.  (Second Reading)
  2. Ordinance 18-06: An ordinance to amend the Zoning Map from R-20 Low Density Residential to Suburban Residential Planned Unit Development and approve a Preliminary Master Plan for property north of North Palmers Chapel Road. (Second Reading)
  3. Ordinance 18-07: An ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance to delete the sections designating the City of White House ADA Monitoring and Compliance Officer in the Supplementary Provisions Applying to Specific Districts. (Second Reading)
  4. Ordinance 18-08: An ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance to redefine the minimum exterior building material requirements for one and two family dwellings in residential planned unit development zoning districts.(Second Reading)
  5. Ordinance 18-09: An ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance to increase minimum side and  rear building setbacks in certain residential zoning districts based on fire protection reference standards. (Second Reading)
  6. Ordinance 18-10: An ordinance to contract (de-annex) certain territory within the corporate boundaries of the city of White House, Tennessee including Hwy 31W North/SR 41 Right-of-Way.(First Reading)
  7. Ordinance 18-11: An ordinance to contract (de-annex) certain territory within the corporate boundaries of the city of White House, Tennessee including Boyles Road properties. (First Reading)
  8. Ordinance 18-12: An ordinance amending the zoning ordinance to increase the Fire, Parks and Police Impact Fees calculation rates. (First Reading)
  9. Ordinance 18-13: An ordinance of the city of White House, Tennessee, adopting the annual budget (and tax rate) for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019. (First Reading)
  10. Ordinance 18-14: An ordinance of the city of White House, Tennessee, amending the Fiscal Budget for the period of ending June 30, 2018. (First Reading)
  11. Ordinance 18-15: An ordinance of the city of White House, Tennessee, amending the Municipal Code Title 8, Chapter 2 Beer, Section 8-209. (First Reading)
  12. Ordinance 18-16: An ordinance of the city of White House, Tennessee, amending the Municipal Code Title 8, Chapter 3 Package Liquor Stores, Sections 8-304 and 8-315. (First Reading)

Beer Board

There will be a meeting of the White House Beer Board for a public hearing and to consider the application for an on and off premises beer/liquor permit for Mr. Adam Alexander and Mr. Jeffrey Beck of Tavern 76 located at 520 Hwy 76, Suite 15. The meeting will be at 7:00pm on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Building, located at 105 College Street.

The City of White House Planning Commission will meet in a regular scheduled meeting on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 7:00 pm, in the Board Chambers Room of the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Building, 105 College Street to discuss the following agenda items:

-      Holly Tree Subdivision-Phase 1: Planning/Codes Staff requests $15,000 Maintenance Bond release due to requested improvement completion. Ernie Ellis- Project Developer.

-      Bridle Creek Subdivision-Phase 4: Planning/Codes Staff requests $43,820 Subdivision Improvement Bond extension and requested completion of remaining improvements. Jim Brinkley-Project Developer.

-      Tate Ornamental/Klober Engineering Services: Requests Site Plan approval for 80,936 sq. ft. industrial buildings on 16.98 acres. Property is referenced as Robertson County Tax Map 95, Parcels 68, 69, and 70. Property is zoned I-1, Light Industrial and is located at Industrial Drive.

-      Cambridge Franchise Holdings/Marlar Engineering Co.: Requests Site Plan Approval for a proposed Popeye’s Restaurant on 1.27 acres. Property is referenced as Robertson County Tax Map 106, Parcel 088.00. Property is zoned C-2, Interstate Sign District and is located at 701 Highway 76.

-      Cottage Groves Subdivision/Cold Land Surveying: Requests Final Subdivision Plat approval for (4) four residential lots on 0.64 acres. Property is referenced as Sumner County Tax Map 077, Parcel 003.01. Property is zoned R-TC High Density Town Center Commercial District and is located at Highway 31W North.

-      The Parks Subdivision-Phase 1:/Steven E. Artz and Associates, Inc. Requests final subdivision plat for 128 single family residential lots on 32.00 acres on Pinson Lane. Property is referenced as Robertson County Tax Map 95, Parcel 139.02 and is zoned Neighborhood Center Residential Planned Unit Development. Property Owner: Heritage Development, LLC. {Deferred from May Meeting}

Notice is hereby given that the Industrial Development Board of the City of White House, Tennessee, will meet on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, to discuss options for payment in Lieu of Ad Valorem Taxes plan for a new Tate Ornamental facility. The meeting will take place at 5:00pm at teh Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center located at 105 College Street.
