The City Administrator is responsible for the day to day operations of the city and is the city’s chief administrative office. This includes preparing and administering the city’s budget, supervising all city departments, administering personnel policies, overseeing purchasing, and recommending to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen actions that are necessary or expedient for the welfare of the city.


How does the City contact parties interested in providing goods or services for the City?

Please contact the Purchasing Specialist at 615-672-4350, ext. 2130 for information about purchasing guidelines and to be added to a bid list. When goods or services are needed, businesses on bid lists are contacted and/or requests for proposals are mailed.
